Symposium Director Dr. Shahla Masood invites you to the 30th Annual Multidisciplinary Symposium on Breast Disease.

For the past 29 years, the symposium has provided a unique educational experience for those involved in breast health care. As an internationally recognized symposium, we have been fortunate to attract the most highly respected speakers to participate in the symposium every year.

The program is designed to offer plenary sessions, case presentations and panel discussions with active participation of the audience. The speakers are recognized authorities in their specialties, with experience in presenting the most controversial aspects surrounding the spectrum of benign, premalignant and malignant breast lesions. In addition, we are fortunate to have DENNIS SLAMON, MD to serve as our Keynote Speaker. Dr. Slamon is a professor of medicine, chief of the Division of Hematology/Oncology and executive vice chair for research for UCLA’s Department of Medicine. He is best known for his work identifying the HER2/neu oncogene that is amplified in 25–33% of breast cancer patients and the resulting treatment trastuzumab.

Symposium faculty includes experts in the fields of surgery, oncology, pathology, radiology, genomics, and patient advocacy from renowned institutions. The target audience includes medical oncologists, radiologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, pathologists and allied healthcare professionals.
