UF Office of Research
The University of Florida Office of Research provides programs and services to support UF faculty and staff in their research efforts. The Office can identify grant opportunities, manage proposals and awards, protect intellectual property, work with potential industry partners, and highlight research achievements and more.
Assistance with submitting your proposal and using UFIRST, contact the Division of Sponsored Programs (DSP). The unit facilitates institutional approval for all extramural proposal submissions, accepts and administers grant awards, and negotiates contracts and other research-related agreements on behalf of the University of Florida.

Institutional Review Boards (IRB)
The IRBs review ALL research involving human subjects to ensure that their welfare and rights are protected as mandated by federal regulations.
