Our ISP Ambassadors are a dedicated group of students who embody the spirit of global engagement and cultural exchange at our institution. These ambassadors represent ISP and help other students connect with the program. Ambassadors are selected for their outstanding academic achievements, leadership skills, and commitment to building a supportive global community.
Responsibilities
Program outreach: Our ambassadors play an important role in connecting UF students to ISP. Through various avenues they inform UF undergraduate students about the opportunities and benefits of ISP. They are available to present at student org meetings upon request.
Peer Mentorship: Through one-on-one mentorship, ambassadors offer personalized support, helping new scholars adjust academically and socially.
Become and ISP Ambassador
Becoming an ISP Ambassador is an enriching experience that enhances your leadership skills, broadens your global perspective, and provides an opportunity to make lasting friendships. Ambassadors gain valuable experience in event planning, public speaking, and cross-cultural communication, all while making a positive impact on the university community. Ambassadors are recognized at the ISP graduation ceremony upon completion of the program.
The ISP Ambassador position is a yearlong commitment. Applications are submitted at the beginning of the fall semester and continue throughout the academic year. Ambassadors are recognized at the ISP graduation ceremony upon completion of the program.
