Jill has been in the field of international education for over a decade and first joined the UF International Center as a study abroad advisor in 2013. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the Study Abroad Services unit in addition to advising for programs in Greece. Prior to joining UF, Jill worked with SIT Study Abroad as an Admissions Counselor and lead an after-school tutoring program for immigrants and refugees at the International Institute of St. Louis. She has a B.A. in Media Communications and Religious Studies from Webster University and an M.A. in International Education from SIT Graduate Institute. As a student, Jill studied abroad for an academic year at Regents University in London and worked in the U.K. for six months through the British Universities North America Club (BUNAC). She also served as a Peace Corps volunteer for two years in Madagascar teaching English as a Foreign Language to middle school and high school students. She speaks Malagasy and her areas of interest in education abroad include program development, curriculum integration, and holistic advising.
