GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida women's basketball guard Alberte Rimdal was named to the Denmark National Team and will play in the Mitsui Fudosan Cup, part of the International Basketball Games 2023 this summer, the Danmarks Basketball Forbund announced.
Denmark and Rimdal will face off against the 2020 Olympic Silver Medalist Japan National Team in a three-game series that will be played from June 16-18 at the Takasaki Arena. This year, Japan is ranked ninth in FIBA's world rankings, while Denmark is ranked No. 52.
