The International Center is pleased to announce the 2024 Study Abroad Leadership Program Faculty Cohort!
The Study Abroad Leadership Program (SALP) is a semester-long program that provides a cohort of 5-10 UF faculty with the training, tools, and funding to develop new and innovative faculty-led summer study abroad programs. Any faculty member with an idea for a new study abroad program that helps us meet this objective is encouraged to apply.
This leadership program consists of a series of workshops offered in the Spring semester with the goal of assisting faculty in developing a robust program proposal for the following summer (~ 1 year lead time). Throughout the program, participants will learn best practices in the field of International Education, understand the roles and responsibilities of the faculty director and design a program that meets the academic and intercultural objectives set forth by UF.
