Dr. Karen Reed, Clinical Associate Professor will assume a new role at the College of Nursing as Interim Associate Dean of Academic Affairs- Undergraduate Education. She will officially assume responsibilities on May 17th.
Reed is a long-time supporter of Fulbright Programs on the UF campus and has a vision and passion for global nursing education. She was the first nurse to receive a Fulbright Scholar Award to Cambodia in 2013-2014. She has sustained the partnerships that she built by returning to Cambodia when possible, using her personal time and resources, to advocate for advancements in global nursing education.
