Building on a collaboration initiated through a joint virtual exchange project, Drs. Pasha Antonenko and Andrea Ramirez Salgado from UF and Dr. Nadia Rosero from Universidad ICESI in Colombia have now been awarded funding from 100,000 Strong in the Americas to further engage their students and other faculty in exploring applications of artificial intelligence to strengthen the chili value chain. The project will include a new virtual exchange project, a physical mobility opportunity for 3 ICESI students to take a course on AI at UF, and training for ICESI faculty on developing a curriculum for a course on AI.
