Fulbright Awareness Month at UF started with the annual Fulbright reception hosted by President Ben Sasse and Dean Marta L. Wayne.
Joe Glover, Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs offered encouraging words about UF's support for international research. Dean Marta L. Wayne talked about the importance of international education and engagement and the vision of UFIC as it relates to Fulbright Programs.
Dr. Kathy Colverson, Associate Research Scientist (IFAS-Animal Sciences) and doctoral student Scott Lee Young (UF Coastal Engineering) shared their individual experiences as Fulbright awardees.
Another event hosted was the U.S. Scholar Program Info Session which featured Jordana Enrich, Director of the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program at the Institute of International Education, in partnership with the Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
