Marlowe Starling, a Study Abroad Student Assistant and WUFT reporter, was accepted and published in the Earth Island Journal. Her article, "It Takes a Village," talks about the natural resource conservation in Tanzania. Marlowe has truly embraced the spirit of what it means to be a Global Gator and this publication comes as a result of her participation in an SFS study abroad program in Tanzania which focused on Wildlife Management. Because of her experiences in Tanzania, Marlowe decided to add a minor in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation as well as a minor in International Studies in Agricultural and Life Sciences. She has her sights set on pursuing environmental and international journalism as a long-term career goal. Congratulations to Marlowe for her achievements and dedication to being a Global Gator!
