Tamara Macieira was presented with the 2024 FLOin Award for Nursing Informatics by the Nursing Consortium of Florida, Inc. on June 29.
Macieira is a pioneer in nursing informatics. Her current funded study is transformative, broadening the scope of the OneFlorida+ Clinical Research Network and Data Trust to include invaluable nurse-generated data.
Through her work, she is harmonizing nursing care plan data elements with a widely used data model, with implications for the global healthcare and informatics community.
