Dean Marta L. Wayne spent productive days together with UF colleagues at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. The UF delegation discussed promising opportunities for UF students in STEM via the Transatlantic Student Science Exchange program (TASSEP). The visit was coordinated by Tammy Davidson and Valeria D. Kleiman. The team met with representatives from Sorbonne Université, Universidad Complutense Madrid, Technologische Universitat Wien, Université Grenoble Alpes, Università Bologna, and many more.

The UF International Center looks forward to greater engagement and exchange following meetings with Elena Urquia Grande and Maria del Rosario Cristóbal Roncero (not in picture) discussing migration, development economics, linguistics, African Studies, Latin American business, and more. UFIC is grateful to Tammy Davidson and Valeria D. Kleiman for making these opportunities happen for our Global Gators and for their excellent work with science exchanges in Europe.
