Associate Professor Sebastian Galindo's application to establish the "UNESCO Chair on Embedded Evaluation for Improved Impact in Non-formal and Informal Lifelong Learning" at the University of Florida (UF) has been favorably evaluated by UNESCO!

This milestone represents a significant achievement in lifelong learning and evaluation.

A draft agreement between UNESCO and UF to formally establish the Chair or UNITWIN Network will be shared within the next 2-3 weeks. 

Dr. Sebastian Galindo is a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural Education and Communication (AEC) at the University of Florida. In addition to his roles with the department, Galindo is a faculty affiliate for the Center for Public Issues Education (PIE Center), Florida Climate Institute, Florida Water Institute, Tropical Conservation and Development Program, and Master of Sustainable Development Program and coordinates the Qualitative Research Community. Originally from Mexico City, Galindo earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Universidad Veracruzana in 2001. He then came to the University of Florida where he received his master’s degree studying animal sciences (2004) and later his Ph.D. from AEC (2009).
