The National Science Foundation Director, Sethuraman Panchanathan, stopped to visit the University of Florida campus. During his visit, UF Research hosted a campus conversation with the director to discuss NSF's priorities and opportunities for researchers. UF Vice President for Research, Dr. David Norton, shared his thoughts on the visit through a tweet that read:

Dr. Panchanathan also visited the Florida Museum of Natural History to see the work of the iDigBio program funded by NSF grants. In a tweet, the NSF shared:
