Congratulations to Susan Lukowe, UF International Center Business Manager on receiving her Gator Business Administrator Services (GBAS) Certification! Susan is responsible for management of all UFIC business and financial activities, and oversight of fiscal staff and operations. She is also responsible for the center’s budget allocation and management of all center funding sources, leading financial initiatives for long range planning including establishment of fees collected for study abroad, RCM calculations and overseeing financial reporting for the center.
Susan has been with the University for 10 years, holds an M.A. in Accounting from the University of Florida, and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida.
The mission of the GBAS program is to develop and sustain a network of top quality business professionals who provide efficient and effective financial and administrative solutions to campus. The GBAS Certification is awarded to select GBAS participants who have effectively used a variety of the components offered by the GBAS program to the benefit of their unit, department and/or college. The award signifies active involvement in GBAS, including activities such as the GBAS Mentoring Program and participation in GBAS workshops and institutes.
Achieving the GBAS Certification is no easy feat; it required a significant commitment of time and dedication. Kudos to all recipients!
