You are all warmly invited to join us at the 2nd annual Night of Ideas/Nuit des Idées on Thursday April 3 at 6:30pm, sponsored by the France-Florida Research Institute with support from the French Embassy and UF's Center for the Humanities and the Public Sphere.

As part of our series on Environmental Humanities, we have organized this event around the theme of Aquatic Horizons.  We'll be having a concert of French classical music inspired by nature, a roundtable discussion of water as a common good, and a closing reception with refreshments.

The event will be held at the Historic Thomas Center in Downtown Gainesville. 302 NE 6th Ave, Gainesville, FL 32601 and is open to the public.
