OHSA and the One Health Center hosted an interdisciplinary panel discussion to discuss combating climate change. The panelists were from ecology and environmental engineering to psychology and economics. The objective was to learn about the causes and impacts of climate change through the lens of a variety of fields. It was possible to discover potentially collaborative solutions for this urgent, global phenomenon in a pandemic-driven environment. Prominent U.S. colleges and universities are reporting a surge in international applications over the past two years, fueled by the easing of pandemic travel restrictions and new policies that allow potential students to apply without SAT or ACT scores.
