The UF Japanese Club, in collaboration with the UF International Center, hosted a lively Spring Festival, Harumatsuri, on March 28, 2025, at the Reitz Union outdoor Tabling Area. 

The event featured a variety of engaging cultural activities, including calligraphy, yukata try-ons, and interactive tabling experiences. Attendees had the chance to participate in trivia, fan-decorating, and origami at the J-Club activity tables.

Gainesville is welcoming back former Fulbright scholar Antti Miihkinen, who first arrived in the city a decade ago to conduct postdoctoral research in accounting.
