Recently, UF alumna and UF Assistant Professor of Agricultural and Biological Engineering Dana Choi was elected as a Full Member of the Club of Bologna in its annual meeting in Hannover, Germany. She is joined in the photo Alireza Pourreza, a UF alumnus and associate professor at the University of California-Davis, and UF professor John Schueller who are also full members. Drs. Choi and Pourreza came to UF from Korea and Iran and completed dissertations which won international awards under the direction of Prof. Won-Suk "Daniel" Lee.

The UF International Center is pleased to welcome all new Global Gators to the University of Florida!

A welcome reception for all our incoming international students was held at the Evans Champions Club inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium last night.

Students enjoyed taking pictures with Albert and Alberta and were warmly greeted by Dean Marta L. Wayne and several UFIC staff.

Hosted at the beautiful Rosenberg Room at COE, staff and faculty were invited to meet UFIC staff and learn about our services. Attendees enjoyed a wide variety of international snacks and sweets.

Big thanks to Scott Davis, Academic Assistant II, and to Elena Anderson, Assistant to Dean Good for organizing and supporting IEW events throughout the week!

Faculty and staff attended the Global Learning Luncheon which promoted global collaboration and a sustainable future. Hosted by UFIC's Office for Global Learning, participants shared about initiatives and projects accomplished during the past year. Congratulations!
