Malini Johar Schueller grew up in Chandigarh, India, a city north of New Delhi, the country’s capital. She came from a well-educated family who encouraged her to make a career out of literature.

A cooperative memorandum of understanding was signed between UF and the University of Applied Sciences, Dresden promoting collaborations and exchanges. Present at the signing in Dresden, Germany were Prof. Karl Wild, Prof. Katrin Salchert (the Rector), UF Prof. John K. On May 15th Dr. Mary Risner, Assoc. Director of the Center for Latin American Studies, and Paloma Rodriguez, Director of the Office of Global Learning, co-led a workshop on virtual exchange for administrators and faculty from institutions from all over the world. The event was hosted by Florida Gulf Coast University as part of the Annual Hanseatic League of Universities conference, which brought together delegates from 24 countries including the Philippines, Vietnam, Korea, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Uganda, Brazil, Mexico, Hungary, Italy, Albania, Germany, and the US.
